7. Music, Harmony, Peace

 Event: <<凌空.音翔>>管乐演奏会

Kuen Cheng's Wind Orchestra had their annual concert on the 18th. As their #1 fan, I attended their concert, like how I did for the pass few years.

So, my day started off like this. Ximan, Jeff and I went to Mid Valley early in the morning.

Matching sandals and nails with Ximan.

We bumped into Jon and got our movie tickets together. Four of us went searching for shoes for Jeff and I ended up buying a new pair of earphones from Sony. ;)

It was finally time for our movie marathon!
The Dark Knight Rises. The movie lasted for 3 hours, but it was definitely a great one!! For the first time, I pee-ed halfway through the movie.

Step Up Revolution 3D! It was Me and Ximan's second time watching this movie. It's just so awesome, definitely worth watching it twice, or more ;)

After the movie, we had our meal at Sushi Zanmai, the boys joined us as well. Jeff was acting all lady-like and he refused to sit beside Ken. Oh come on, we all know that you wanted to sit beside him. So, after a round of rock, paper and scissors, the love birds ended up sitting together. Victor, Yuquan and I were reading Ken's whatsapp conversation with Jeff. Like omg, the messages are so sweet, yet so gross.

Aren't they the sweetest gay couple?

Victor and my xiang gong!

After having our meal, we went to buy flowers for Nelson, Thaddeus and Sin Mei, as it was gonna be  their last band concert.

Nelson's

Thad's

We headed to school at 6 in the evening. We were the first few people to reach. Our band friends didn't have time to entertain us, which was kinda sad. Till later, Melissa that woman came to me and we had our usual gossiping session, along with Christian. Later, we went into the hall.

 Xinhui, Ximan, Me & Michelle

 Trixie, Ximan, Me & Michelle

 Jeff and Xinhui

 Me & Mich

Can you see Belinda?

The concert started at 730. The first song was <<百年颂>>. This is what you call a school anthem, not some other crappy version with a thousand instruments from different countries. Okay, I shall not judge. We could see Nelson and Thad clearly from the screen. They performed my favourite song of all <<>> right before the intermission. Oh god, the saxophone Solo and the trombone Soli was as awesome as ever!

During the intermission, we went to look for Nelson. He started to tear up because he felt sad as it was his last concert. He said he was grateful that all of us came to support him. Aww, we love you Nelson, we really do!

Melissa & Nelson

Ximan, Nel, Young & Me

The concert continued after the intermission. Foon Yew High School's Band were invited for the guest performance. They were equally awesome and they totally owned the stage!! They performed a few songs. My favourite one was <<Omens of Love>>. Our school and their school also performed together. We gave the flowers to our beloved performers after they performed their last song and, the concert just ended like that.

3. 文娱晚会

Event: <<你拥有我的未来>>文娱晚会
It was a Saturday and we started our rehearsals at 10 in the morning. We got dismissed at 1pm and we headed to Mid Valley.

Lunch at Popeye's and we all went back to my house.

We washed ourselves and went to bed.
We napped for about an hour and obviously we didn't want to wake up,
especially Rebecca ;)
So, we left home at 5pm.

____________________________________________

It was time to get ready to perform, but before that, here's a few pictures :)

Prettiest Form 1 member - Shu En
Sean!
Ivan the Snow White

Okay, that's us on stage. Top of the World and Croc Rock.

I don't know how it went, so imma wait till they release the DVD.
After the performance, me and Jason went into the hall to watch others perform.
Btw, Thank you Jason for giving me the VIP ticket, which costs RM50.
The drama club was having their performance when we entered the hall, if I'm not mistaken.
It was so lame that we left the hall and wandered around outside.
That was when we saw Nelson :)

Nelson Sou

After that, I met up with Gillian. She accompanied me in the hall.
24 节令鼓 was performing on stage then. They were Awesome!!!
There was a 15 minute break after their performance.
I wanted to sit at the VIP area so I could take a closer look and better view.
I have to thank Gillian for accompanying me :)
So, I found a seat at the third row. I had Nelson's mum, Leon and Chia Woon sitting one row ahead me.

Wind Orchestra was up next..
They played two songs, I personally love the second one, which was <<骑在龙的背上>>
It started with a Alto Saxophone solo. I really liked the trombone Soli too ;)
I was totally intoxicated by that song :')

Sean's Violin solo was up next..
My photography. He looks so good on stage.
Guitar Club's performance. It was awesome as well. Melvin looked so hot on stage ;)
I moved to the second row as there was an empty seat beside Nel's mum. I sat with Nelson and his mum. The Headmistress and her husband was right in front of us.

Chinese Cultural Dance performed as well. I swear their makeup and costume freaked the hell out of me.
I heard Headmistress' husband whispering: They look like ghosts.
HAHAHAH. Okay, here are some pictures.

ii

Yeah, they are my beloved brothers alright. Their performance was remarkable. They totally owned the stage. I even recorded the whole thing. See, I'm such a good friend.

This is Part 1. I totally mistaken Christian for Melvin. Haha.

This is Part 2. Apologize, Wedding Dress and Robot.

Closing Act - 管华弦乐大合奏

It turned out okay, but still.. the 百年颂 was kinda disappointing.
Me and Nelson were so into their performance that we swayed our bodies and sang along with them.
It was the last performance, and the concert just ended like that.

Our fellow performers.
Guys, good show tonight. Goodnight.
